BDR Transport, Inc. was founded in 1970 to carry footwear from New England manufacturers to west coast markets and return with processed leather.

Through the years, BDR has expanded to become a full service LTL contract carrier with over $7.5 million in annual revenues.  BDR  provides expedited cross-country service in both directions between points in New England and California.  To provide  this service, BDR utilizes air ride tractors and trailers operating between terminals in Lathrop CA, Santa Fe Springs CA, and Westminster VT.

By Loading direct to destination, freight moves quickly and with a minimal damage.  Standard delivery time is five business days and the claims ratio is one tenth of one percent.

Operating as a contract carrier gives BDR the flexibility of tailoring its service to the customers' needs.  By utilizing team drivers BDR is able to deliver in as little time as three days coast to coast.

In January 1997, BDR expanded its operations to include freight forwarding.  We can now provide LTL service (minimum 2000 lbs.) to virtually any point in the continental United States.
